We’re back from an exciting weekend of racing with our friends at CVAR at Eagles Canyon Raceway! HVR was proud to have 10 of our competition members join CVAR’s Group 1 classes, contributing to a packed field of 41 cars on track. The action was non-stop, with plenty of tight competition and a lot of fun.
Despite the busy grid, our team made a strong showing, coming through the weekend nearly unscathed. We did lose an engine and had two members involved in incidents—thankfully, neither was at fault, and everyone came away safely.
A big thank you to CVAR for welcoming HVR to the event. We truly value the camaraderie and collaboration in the vintage racing community.
Looking ahead, don’t forget our final competition event of the season is coming up October 10–12! We’ll be heading to Ozarks International Raceway for the Ozarks Vintage Festival, where we’ll be joining forces with VSCDA, RMVR, and CVAR once again. With vintage racers from across the country attending, it promises to be an unforgettable weekend.
And mark your calendars for our Veterans Celebration Day on November 15 at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit — one of the most meaningful events we host each year. We’re honored to provide rides in our vintage race cars as a small gesture of appreciation for our veterans and active-duty military personnel.
