ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS AND RENEWALS

After some difficulty implementing a rolling 12-month calendar for memberships, the decision was made to return to a calendar-year schedule. Memberships once again run from January 1 through December 31.  Any new member who signs up after the final event of the year (typically in October) will have their due date extended through the end of the following year. RULES UPDATES

The following updates to the HVR Rules were discussed and approved at the December 2020 Board of Directors meeting. The HVR rules have been updated to reflect these changes.

  • Video Footage of Incidents. HVR members who have video footage of an incident, whether in-car or trackside, are required to submit that footage to the board for the internal infraction review process. Members who refuse can be placed on probation or be subject to membership revocation.
  • Post ’74 Cars No Longer Accepted – The board elected to roll back the inclusions for later-model cars and revert to only having rules and classes up through 1974. HVR members with those post ’74 cars who have participated with HVR in 2020 are grandfathered in to participate in 2021.
